You have probably seen Kontera links and maybe didn’t really know that they were there. Kontera is described as in-text advertising which is different from the ads you see on sites such as Adsense. The links to the ads are shown on your blog as a link with a double line under it. When a reader clicks on one of the links, you get paid. The question is: Does Kontera work?

I have used Kontera on my blogs for a few months now and it has generated a small amount of revenue. The clicks do not pay anywhere near what you receive for an Adsense click but I get clicks every day. In fact, I get a little over 1.5% click through rate and my average per click pay is just over 3 cents per click. Yes, I will not get rich but the links do not distract from the posts and there usually are not many of them in a single post plus the extra revenue is nice. As I post more and more articles, my pay from Kontera will surely rise just as it is doing with Adsense and with RevTwt so I plan on keeping it.
